Open Repeaters

Public repeaters that are linked into the system.

Introduction

The SWCRS maintains the following repeaters, many are open for public use. Frequency and tone information for open repeaters are available on the myGMRS and RepeaterBook websites (linked).

Repeater Rules

While we no longer maintain an approval process for repeaters listed as open, we expect users to follow these rules:

  1. Family friendly language only and be respectful of other users.
  2. No unauthorized nets, all group coordinated activity requires approval and coordination from the SWCRS.
  3. Licensed use only, and identify your transmissions at the start and end of your conversations, and every 15 minutes for GMRS, 10 minutes for Amateur.
  4. Disable roger beeps, MDC, PTT-ID, ANI, and other noisemakers.
  5. Normal spoken voice only; no sound effects, music, TV, etc.
  6. Yield to nets and all priority traffic.
  7. Commercial, revenue generating, and/or revenue supporting uses are not permitted under any circumstances. Our systems are for personal use only.

All SWCRS repeaters are part of a linked network unless noted otherwise; a transmission on one repeater will be heard on all other repeaters within that service.
