National GMRS Net – Session 14

The national GMRS net saw a total of 101 check-ins this evening. Net control for the evening was Dominic, WRFN434 with the New Mexico GMRS group. Thanks for running the net this evening, Dom; you did a tremendous job!

The topic of the evening was suggested by James, WRDS831 also from New Mexico: Are you a licensed ham radio operator as well, and if not, are you interested in getting a ham radio license? Responses are logged below.

We are looking for net control operators to run the net on 10th – if you are interested let us know! Any licensed GMRS operator is allowed to run it – expertise is not required! We’ll set you up with all the tools and give you a run-down of how it all works and what to look out for. If none come forward, session 15 of the net will reconvene on May 17th.

The recording from the session is available on our YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/tlovttT5eQ4
