The TAZ 625 Thursday Night Net gathered on November 5, 2026, with WRNR761 (Andrew) steering the session as net control and seven stations checking in, with no one going unheard. The evening's topic invited everyone to suggest what they'd like to discuss on future nets, and the ideas came in strong: WRUB659 proposed outdoor spots to play radio and range testing, while WRVF452 suggested revisiting favorite state parks and national monuments. Gear was clearly on everyone's minds, with WSAB543 asking for technical questions and field-use setups, WSFN474 pitching under-$50 favorite gear, backup power, hidden gems, and the funniest moments on the air, and WSMX361 hoping to compare mobile, HT, and base station rigs and antennas. There was plenty of laughter too, thanks to some playful "things gone wrong" riffs like a car with five wheels, a driver with six fingers, and a Nissan logo gone gibberish. Thanks to George, Andrew, Gary, Mark, Todd, Mike, and Carlos for the great ideas, and we hope to see even more of you next Thursday!
