Arizona Repeaters Now in Standalone Mode

As of April 10, 2025, all Arizona repeaters on the Southwest Communications Radio System now operate in standalone mode by default. This change encourages more localized use and less statewide traffic by default.

What’s New:

  • Updated node numbers for simplified access
  • Expanded DTMF control commands now available
  • 🔇 Courtesy tones disabled while in standalone mode

Need to connect to another repeater or a hub? Use the published DTMF commands or ask on your local machine for assistance. SWCRS Nets will be hosted on the New Mexico hub; it’s up to you to connect as needed.

📄 For full details, visit the GMRS Repeaters and DTMF Commands sections of the member portal.
