Tucson GMRS has been all about serving the community via radio since it’s establishment just over a year ago, and we are thrilled to announce that the Tucson GMRS Association has now been granted 501(c)(3) status by the Internal Revenue Service.
501(c)(3) status gives us additional means to work with other organizations, businesses, jurisdictions, and individuals to further our cause in developing and growing the GMRS community in our area, and gives us access to additional resources that can help us along the way. We’ve been able to accomplish much in just over a year since our founding, and this status will let us further improve our engagement and capabilities within the community we serve.
