The 5151 repeater received a squelch adjustment this week following a site visit and on-air testing. The settings were fine-tuned to better accommodate stations that aren’t full-quieting into the machine, improving responsiveness to weaker and mobile signals. With the squelch optimized, the repeater should now provide more reliable access without unnecessary noise or hang-ups. Performance will continue to be monitored, but early results indicate that 5151 is now playing much nicer with less-than-full-strength signals in the field.
